Better than every word, a date speaks: 1984. In fact, more than three decades have passed since Alberto Querci inaugurated the Il Bandierino. More than thirty years without changes of the management. Three decades to establish itself among the best restaurants in Siena.

The traditional Sienese cuisine, like the Tuscan one, is a cuisine made of simple but high quality ingredients, carefully assembled to give life to tasty dishes, in every season: from appetizers based on mixed crostini, Sienese pecorino and charcuterie to continue with the traditional first courses such as ribollita and pici, to come to the tagliata and peposo and to conclude with a wide selection of desserts.

For those who want some change, tasty fish dishes are also amazing and variable based on the seasonality.

Finally, being in Siena, there is also a rich selection of wines, with the reds making it the owner: Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso and, of course, Brunello di Montalcino.
